PHS 103 - General Physical SciencePrerequisite: MAT 090 , MAT 095 , or appropriate score on the placement test ; AND RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test.

This course is an introductory non-laboratory science course that applies the basic principles of physics for students in multiple disciplines including allied health, technology, or any other program that does not require high-level physics content. Topics include the scientific method, measurement/dimensional analysis, density/specific gravity, motion, energy/work, flow & pressure, basic electricity & magnetism, and sound & light waves.*Biological/Physical Science and Lab Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
