JPN 102 - Elementary Japanese IIPrerequisite: JPN 101 or Level I of high school Japanese; OR instructor consent.

This second course in Japanese language and culture focuses on the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while also inviting students to explore the culture of Japanese-speaking people. Elementary Japanese II reviews and builds upon the vocabulary and structures learned in Elementary Japanese I (or equivalent), while again providing a setting in which to use the target language in simulated everyday exchanges. Students are equipped and encouraged to practice the language both inside and outside of the classroom. * Art/Humanities Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
Semesters Offered: Spring Only, All Years.
