PHS 104 - General Physical SciencePrerequisite: MAT 090 , MAT 095 , or appropriate score on the placement test; AND RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test

This course is an introductory laboratory science course that applies the basic principles of physics for students in multiple disciplines including the AAT in Education programs, applied health, technology, or any other program that does not require higher-level physics content. Topics include the scientific method, measurement/dimensional analysis, density/specific gravity, motion, energy/work, flow & pressure, basic electricity & magnetism, and sound & light waves.* Biological/Physical Science and Lab Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab.
