MLT 203 - Urinalysis & Body FluidsPrerequisite: BIO 116 and MLT 112 .
(2 Credits)
This course studies the physical, chemical, and microscopic examination of urine specimens and related tests on other body fluids such as semen, gastric contents, duodenal contents, and transudates and exudates. A review of the anatomy and physiology of the renal system, urine formation, chemical analysis of urine and the microscopic examination of urinary sediment will be introduced. Course fee required. Total of 15 hours of lecture 45 hours of lab.
