BIO 116 - Human Anatomy and Physiology for Allied HealthPrerequisite: RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test. (4 Credits) This is a single semester course (lecture and lab) designed to provide an understanding of the structure and function of human anatomy, including the nervous, endocrine, integumentary, muscular, skeletal, digestive, urinary, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory, and immune/lymphatic systems. The laboratory work involves a complete study and dissection of typical mammal specimens for comparison to the human body. This course is not approved for the RN and LPN programs. * Biological/Physical Science and Lab Approved General Education Course. Laboratory fee required. Total of 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab.
