ELL 107 - ELL GrammarPrerequisite: ESL 100 or appropriate score on the placement test. (3 Credits) This course is designed to assist non-native speakers of English to recognize and correct grammatical and syntactical discrepancies between their native language(s) and academic American English at the high intermediate level as a complement for completion of writing assignments at the college level via written assignments, outlining, and sentence diagramming in conjunction with intense mechanics and grammar instruction. Students placed into this course are required to utilize online learning tools and may be required to meet with instructors or tutors outside of normally scheduled class times. Total of 45 contact hours.
