BIO 114 - Principles of Biology IIPrerequisite: BIO 101 or BIO 113 . Corequisite: CHM 104 . (4 Credits) This course is a continuation of BIO 101 or BIO 113 . This course includes: control of gene expression, biotechnology, population genetics, evolution and biological diversity, vertebrate organ systems and vertebrate development, population dynamics, ecosystem structure and function. Students will participate in an extended field research project and compose a scientific paper to present and evaluate their findings. Laboratory fee required. 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab.
