MAT 090 - Foundations of AlgebraPrerequisite: Appropriate score on the placement test.
Corequisite: SDV 089 (students who have previously completed college coursework are exempt from needing SDV 089 ).
(3 Credits)
This is a preparatory course covering select topics normally covered in high school Algebra I and II, such as simplifying algebraic expressions, solving equations, and graphing. This course is designed to prepare students for MAT 114 or MAT 160 . Total of 45 hours of lecture.
