GEO 102 - Human GeographyPrerequisite: RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test.
(3 Credits)
Students will explore the distribution of humans and human activities using geographic techniques, tools and terminology. Various topics such as: the formation of cultural regions, population growth, economic development, urban sprawl, and environmental preservation will be studied. The role of geography in major current events as well as our day-to-day lives will be emphasized. * Diversity Approved General Education Course. Total 45 hours of lecture.
Semesters Offered: Spring Only, All Terms.
