DNC 101 - Dance AppreciationPrerequisite: RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test. (3 Credits) This course is designed to be an overview of world and western dance including: a survey of differing dance techniques, an examination of individual histories and training methods, an introduction to relevant dancers and choreographers, a discussion of particular aspects of spirituality, and a study of artistic and aesthetic expression through dance. * Arts/Humanities Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
Semesters Offered: Fall and Spring Only, All Years.
