ART 223 - Jewelry IIPrerequisite: ART 123 .
(3 Credits)
This is an advanced course that expands upon techniques and formal investigation acquire in ART 123 . Students further their investigation of aesthetics, function, and design of jewelry. Study includes intermediate techniques in metal forming, use of propane/oxygen torch, basic jewelry tools, as well as an exploration of nontraditional materials. Total of 60 hours of lecture.
