PHY 205 - Principles of Physics IIIPrerequisite: PHY 204
Corequisite: MAT 205
(4 Credits)
This is the third course in a three course sequence of calculus-based physics for students that plan to major in physics, engineering, mathematics or physical sciences. It includes waves and wave mechanics, electromagnetic waves, physical and geometrical optics, relativity, atomic and nuclear physics, and introductory quantum mechanics. 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab.
Semesters Offered: Spring Only, All Years.
