DNC 211 - Jazz Dance II
(3 Credits)
This course is an intermediate studio dance course focusing on the various styles of jazz dance including classic, commercial, and contemporary. Students will continue to explore and analyze the roots of jazz dance, the work of jazz dance choreographers, and will further develop an appreciation for jazz dance as a form of aesthetic expression. The class is best suited for students with previous jazz dance training. Total of 60 contact hours.
Semesters Offered: Spring Only, As Needed.
