MUS 176 - Introduction to Audio Recording Techniques (3 Credits) This course explores the world of digital audio recording techniques and related hardware common to studio and live performance recording settings. Students will gain knowledge and experience working with digital audio workstation software (DAW), microphones, audio interfaces, equipment connectivity, and audio effects processors. Other topics covered include signal flow, audio editing, sequencing, mixing, and mastering. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
