DNC 201 - Dance History

Prerequisite: RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test.

A history of western dance from primitive origins through early modern dance. Particular emphasis on the developments of ballet and the social and artistic movements that have shaped the art form. * Arts/Humanities Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
