PED 241 - Diversity and Cultural Issues in Sport and Athletics (3 Credits) This course explores the progression of and factors associated with diversity and inclusion as they relate to physical activity and sport. The course will help students develop an appreciation and awareness of diversity and the importance of inclusion as they relate to sport and physical activity. Students will evaluate sport-related diversity issues, and develop an understanding of how to use sport in order to enhance diversity and inclusion in broader society. * Diversity Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 contact hours.
