IST 105 - Fundamentals of Word ProcessingPrerequisite: CSC 102

This course prepares students to acquire the skill standards required on the Microsoft Office Specialist Word exam using the latest version. The skill sets include creating content, organizing content and formatting content, collaborating, formatting and managing documents. Students will experience hands-on activities using practical examples of business documents and layout techniques. Emphasis will be placed on assessing a workplace scenario and generating the appropriate document. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
Semesters Offered: Spring Only, All Years.
