EMS 123 - Emergency Medical TechnicianPrerequisite: ENG 098 , RDG 095 , or appropriate score on the placement test.

This course introduces students to the foundations of EMS, patient assessment, airway management, medical conditions, traumatic injuries, special populations and operations. This course includes medical and trauma labs. Upon completion of this course, the students will be eligible for the Maryland and National Registry Certification examination. Course Fee Required. Total of 115 of lecture hours and 50 hours of lab.
