This fully on-line course is offered in conjunction with the American Meteorology Society’s (AMS) Weather Studies Course. Emphasis is placed on atmospheric movements and processes, radiation and atmospheric heating, global circulation, weather systems, fronts and air masses, cloud physics, and basic forecasting skills. All coursework will be presented and completed online. Students are required to come to campus to take all examinations in person at the campus testing center. * Biological/Physical Science Approved General Education Course. Course fee required. Total of 45 contact hours.
