BIO 106 - Unity and Diversity of Living ThingsPrerequisite: ENG 099 , RDG 095 , or appropriate score on the placement test.

This is a one semester introductory life science course with laboratory for non-science majors. Basic cell biology and biochemistry common to all living things are presented. Major groups of organisms are surveyed including their genetics, bioenergetics, evolutionary relationships and ecological niches. * Biological/Physical Science and Lab Approved General Education Course. Laboratory fee required. Total of 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab.
