The Dance program is designed to offer students who plan to transfer to a four-year college as dance majors the opportunity to develop foundational skills in concert dance technique, performance, improvisation, composition, and audition in order for them to succeed in upper division dance courses. Core dance courses provide training and practice in the essential areas of dance listed above, as well as extensive exposure to a diverse array of dance studies and contemporary dance practices.
