The Associate of Science degree in Education is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution outside of the state of Maryland to obtain a baccalaureate degree and earn state teacher certification in elementary education OR who plan to obtain a baccalaureate degree and earn state teacher certification in secondary education at any four-year institution. Students are required to submit a professional portfolio prior to graduation.
