NUR 228 - Contemporary Trends in Nursing And LeadershipPrerequisite: NUR 126 and NUR 226 .

This seminar course is designed to help the student transition into professional nursing practice. Current trends in nursing and concepts related to the nurse as a member of the health care team and manager of patient care will be discussed. Topics will include leading and managing, working within an organization, and professional issues and trends. A grade of 75% or above must be attained in this course. Course fee required. Total of 30 hours of lecture.
