MAT 100 - Intermediate AlgebraPrerequisite: MAT 099 .
(3 Credits)
This is a developmental course covering the topics usually included in a high school Algebra II course. It includes units on sets and their properties, functions, the real number system, factoring, exponents, and radicals. Students solve linear and quadratic equations, and inequalities. MyMathLab is required to complete online homework and quizzes. Students in this course may be required to attend the Student Success Center for additional instruction and skill-building exercises. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
Semester Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
