JPN 202 - Intermediate Japanese IIPrerequisite: JPN 201 or Level III of high school Japanese; OR instructor consent.

This course is the second in the intermediate Japanese sequence, further developing the four skills introduced in other Japanese courses (Elementary Japanese I, Elementary Japanese II, and Intermediate Japanese I; or equivalent): reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Emphasis is placed on gaining greater fluency in these areas using sophisticated, authentic texts and conversations. Students continue to explore cultural topics from a variety of Japanese-speaking regions. * Art/Humanities Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
Semesters Offered: Spring Only, As Needed.
