DNC 111 - Jazz Dance I

(3 Credits)

This course is a high intensity introduction to the various styles of jazz dance including classic, commercial, and contemporary. Students will explore the roots of jazz dance, the work of jazz dance choreographers, and will develop an appreciation for jazz dance as a form of aesthetic expression. The class is catered to all levels. Total of 60 contact hours.
