CYB 225 - Tactical Perimeter DefensePrerequisite: IST 154 .
(3 Credits)
This course examines the critical defensive technologies needed to secure network perimeters. Coverage includes network security threats and goals, advanced TCP/IP concepts, router security, intrusion detection, firewall design and configuration, IPSec and virtual private network (VPN) design, and wireless design and security. Course fee required. Total of 45 contact hours.
