SOC 101 - Introduction to SociologyPrerequisite: RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test. (3 Credits) This course introduces students to sociology as a social science. Major topics include the nature of group structure and interaction, social control and deviance, culture, social change, and the structure and function of social institutions. * Behavioral/Social Science Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
