EDU 103 - Foundations of Early Childhood EducationPrerequisite: RDG 095 or appropriate score on the placement test. (3 Credits) This course is designed to increase the student’s understanding of various curriculum models and approaches in early childhood education. Focusing on programs for children from birth through grade 3, historical and philosophical foundations, learner characteristics, contemporary issues and career opportunities are introduced. Varying digital textbook access fee included. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
