Prerequisite: PSY 206 andHST 103. (3 Credits)This course focuses on the classification of alcohol and other drugs, the pharmacological effects of alcohol and drugs, and the co-morbidity of substance use disorders and other mental disorders. Additionally, the assessment and diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities and settings are included in the course. Semester Offered: Spring Semester Only. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
