ENT 103 - Entrepreneurship: Developing an Effective Business Plan (3 Credits) This course examines the tools and methods needed to construct and implement an effective business plan. Students will consider what it takes to start and launch a successful business. They will develop a complete business plan during the semester, including an executive summary, company description, industry analysis, plans for target marketing, operations, technology, and management organization, as well as a complete set of financials. Students will also learn what it take to put the plan to work - presenting a business plan, seeking sources of funding, and drawing upon other support services available to entrepreneurs in the marketplace. Semester Offered: Spring Semester Only. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
