DHY 102 - Dental Hygiene Clinical IPrerequisite: Acceptance to the Dental Hygiene Program.
Corequisite: DHY 101 , DHY 104 , and DHY 108 .

This is a preclinical course that introduces the foundation knowledge for performing dental hygiene clinical skills. Emphasis will be place on basic clinical instrumentation, development of manual dexterity, dental hygiene procedures including assessments, dental hygiene diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and preventative education. Semester Offered: Fall Semester Only. Course and clinical fee required. Total of 120 clinical hours.
