ENG 205 - American LiteraturePrerequisite: ENG 101 .

This course presents significant American literary works and writers within their historical, cultural, and aesthetic frameworks from colonial times through the present. It increases students’ knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of American literature and it increases their skills in literary analysis, writing, and discussion. * Arts/Humanities Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
