CHM 103 - General Chemistry IPrerequisite: CHM 101 or high school chemistry. Corequisite: MAT 101 , MAT 114 , MAT 161 , MAT 203 , or appropriate score on the placement test. (4 Credits) This course is the first semester of a two-semester sequence for science majors and pre-professional students with strong backgrounds in chemistry and math. It presumes a working knowledge of dimensional analysis, chemical formulas and nomenclature, stoichiometry, gas laws and solutions. * Biological/Physical Science and Lab Approved General Education Course. Laboratory fee required. 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab.
