Foreign Language Concentration, Arts and Sciences, A.A.


The Foreign Language Concentration program is designed for those students who are planning to transfer to a four-year degree program with a major in foreign language/s or related fields.  Students interested in pursuing Foreign Language Education should consult with a transfer advisor regarding their choice of elective courses.

Foreign Language


  • Take at least twelve credits of foreign language, at least six of those credits must be at the intermediate level with a single concentrated language (12 Credits)
    HCC offers language instruction from elementary to advanced proficiency in French (FRN 101 FRN 102 FRN 201 FRN 202 ), German (GER 101 GER 102 GER 201 GER 202 ), and Spanish (SPN 101 SPN 102 SPN 201 SPN 202 )
