MAT 110 - Statistics in PracticePrerequisite: . Corequisite: . (1 Credit) This course is intended to be taken simultaneously with by students whose educational objectives include a deeper appreciation for the manner in which statistical analysis and presentation techniques are implemented in research activities and institutional design making. Student groups will be guided through critical evaluation and discussion of the statistics content of journal articles and/or case studies germane to their area of academic focus. Given an original data set student groups will perform statistical calculations, interpret results, and present findings of value to their academic discipline. Total of 15 contact hours.
Semester Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
