CDC 220 - Addictions Treatment DeliveryPrerequisite: HST 207 or HST 208 AND PSY 206 .
(3 Credits)
This course focuses on the concepts, development, and practice of chemical dependency counseling, including assessing, planning treatments, writing progress notes, managing cases, planning for discharges and writing summaries, intervening in crises, consulting, and keeping records. In addition, this course will develop crucial skills in the education and prevention of addiction. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
