ENG 203 - British Literature IPrerequisite: ENG 101 or ENG 101E .

This course is a chronological study and reading of representative prose and poetry from the beginning of the Anglo Saxon period to the Romantic period (1800). Some attention is given to the historical and social background of each period. * Arts/Humanities Approved General Education Course. Total of 45 hours of lecture.
