EMS 151 - Introduction to Paramedic

Prerequisite: Current EMT certification AND ENG 099, RDG 095, or appropriate score on the placement test.
(2 Credits)

This course introduces students to emergency medical services design, roles and responsibilities, paramedic wellness, critical thinking in the prehospital environment, paramedic assessment and diagnosis, history taking, and physical examination. Course fee required. Total of 30 hours of lecture.
